AWPA Adelaide is the Website of The Australia West Papua Association (SA) inc .

We are a local South Australian  Non Government Organisation that was first formed in  2000 and became incorporated in 2003. 

We support the West Papuan people’s  right to self determination to decide their own future, a right that has been denied them since Indonesia invaded their country in 1961.

We assist West Papuans in their struggle by  informing people of the history of West Papua and  current issues . We arrange information stalls, public seminars, provide guest speakers , write submissions and lobby Governments and other institutions about West Papuan human rights .
